This waterside retreat with homemade preserves and peaceful surroundings is a perfect place to park up in your classic car after a days touring.

With its river frontage the Old Forge at Lerryn is peaceful and welcoming. Arriving in your classic car you will already be feeling one step away from the hectic pace of life you have left behind and ready to enjoy afternoon tea with homemade scones and preserves.

Accommodation at the Old Forge is all on the ground floor with the choice of an ensuite double or a suite with its own sitting room and separate shower room. All food is local and organic where possible and Chris and Rachel will give you are warm welcome. Breakfast can be taken outdoors when the weather is fine or in the dining room by the wood burner in the autumn months, the river views and home cooked food are a fantastic way to start your day.

Take a day to drive out and explore the South East coast of Cornwall, visiting Polperro, Fowey, Mevagissey and Looe. Nowhere is very far once you arrive in Cornwall and our classic cars love nothing more than being taken out for the day, and stopping to let you enjoy a picnic or leisurely lunch overlooking the beaches and small coves along the way. This is a lovely part of Cornwall in all months but the Spring ones are particularly beautiful with colourful hedgerows and early bulbs and blossom.
