Cornwall & Devon Classic Car Hire is a member of CoaST - Cornwall Sustainable Tourism Project - and has recently committed to the following environmental statement. The first of its type in the classic car hire industry.

Cornwall & Devon Classic Car Hire has also taken steps to off-set the Carbon Dioxide emissions produced by it's fleet of classic British sportscars by committing to an annual planting plan, whereby trees are planted to off-set the gas that contributes to 'global warming'. In all our activities at Cornwall & Devon Classic Car Hire we seek to:

  • Maximise the efficiency with which we use material resources
  • Reduce energy consumption and increase the efficiency with which we use energy
  • Reduce, reuse and recycle materials and dispose of waste in an environmentally responsible manner
  • Improve the environmental awareness and skills of our employees
  • Preserve the quality and integrity of the classic motor vehicles we offer, for your enjoyment, to safeguard their existence and, thereby, limit further demand for new hire-cars (which in turn contributes to the energy usage involved in the production of modern motor cars)
  • With CoaST's assistance monitor and evaluate our environmental performance on an ongoing basis
