As reported in our May 2002 news-piece Cornwall Classic Car Hire and Cornwall Quality Cottages are working hard to promote the region to discerning visitors under the ‘Quality Cornwall’ banner.
The latest development of this successful alliance is the current competition being promoted by internet service provider AOL that offers their members the chance to win a 4 day Cornwall Quality Cottage break along with the use of a sportscar from Cornwall Classic Car Hire.
For the competition launch both enterprises enjoyed promotion on the sign-in pop up which meant that around 70 - 80 thousand AOL users would have seen the 'Quality Cornwall Break' promotion. This promotion is still being featured in their travel section which is no doubt a highly popular area of the AOL site at this time of year.
The competition also featured complimentary tickets to the fantastic Eden Project, the nation’s favourite garden - The Lost Gardens of Heligan, groundbreaking Tate art gallery at St.Ives and Cornwall's latest world class attraction, The National Maritime Museum Cornwall. This latter attraction also featured very prominently on the sign-in pop-up as one of the latest great reasons to visit the county.
