At the end of September Cornwall Classic Car Hire was featured in a stunning travel programme illustrating the renaissance of Cornish tourism.
Alongside such luminaries as the Eden Project, Rick Stein at Padstow and Hotel Tresanton at St. Mawes Cornwall Classic Car Hire appeared in a one hour programme shown on the Travel Channel.
Entitled ‘First Class Cornwall’ the presenter Henry Cole travelled the county picking out some of the quality visitor attractions, restaurants and accommodation the county is becoming renowned for. From the Tate Art Gallery and The Porthminster Beach Café at St. Ives to Watergate Bay where the Extreme Academy teaches surfing and other extreme sports, the county’s renaissance was depicted as a full and quality focused transformation.
Cornwall Classic Car Hire’s E type Jaguar convertible was driven around Bodmin Moor by Henry - himself a sportscar fanatic - where the presenter was very complimentary about the car and service.
In fact Henry cited the emergence and growth of Cornwall Classic Car Hire as further evidence of a change towards a more discerning visitor profile to Cornwall. He also felt it rather appropriate to have use of the E type during the piece, a classic icon from the sixties, as it was perhaps when Cornwall was last having a hey day.
Other exciting developments such as the ongoing evolution of the Eden Project - the world’s largest greenhouse and one of the most ambitious coastal property developments ever seen in the UK, ‘The Beach’ at Carlyon Bay, reinforced the tone of the programme. Cornwall is rapidly becoming a world-class travel destination.
In order to explore this wonderful holiday and short break destination why not hire a classic sportscar for your trip?
