April 2008
We are delighted to have again worked in partnership with Pollaughan Farm Cottages, Portscatho and Truro College Foundation Studies students to plant trees on the Roseland Peninsula in order to offset the Carbon Dioxide emissions arising from the use of our fleet of classic British sportscars.
We offset 215 tonnes of Carbon Dioxide emissions generated over the 2006 & 2007 seasons by planting 300 trees thereby helping to balance the impact of our cars on the environment.
Over two very enjoyable days trees of several species indigenous to Cornwall were planted at Pollaughan which will both count towards the student's course units, as well as enhance the holiday environment for visitors staying at this excellent self-catering base.
